Dear Friends,
> Food Giants of Developed Countries used mass production techniques to grow faster than their competitors.
> Agriculture and meat production enhanced by chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, genetic modification and corporate farming.
> Theory proposed by some:
> Our digestive system and human organs which have been evolving over a long period and fed with naturally available foods have not yet evolved enough to deal with the chemical overload etc.
> New types of diseases obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer etc are a result of this. These new diseases need bn$ research programs which the developed countries can afford and mass production of drugs is shifted to low income countries. (pollution and other undesirable stuff)
> Our political system ensured that we have 80% of farmers with less than 5 acres. Can we turn this into an opportunity to break free from developed country model and work on a food system which our digestive systems can take and also reduce the healthcare bills of an average citizen
My ideas are too preliminary and raw at this stage, experts are welcome to cook it further
