will somebody ask the bar council to stand up and swear they believe in the Indian Constitution? every accused has a right to defence, every accused. but we never demand accountability of any profession. whether these accused are guilty or not is for a court to decide. for a lawyer to refuse amounts to presumption of guilt and therefore usurpation of the judiciary's rights as the sole deciding authority. let us all send a petition to the bar council and ask them a series of questions. any lawyers out there willing to do this? anjali
