Re: How Journalists may assess Industrialisation in Orissa
I completely agree with this article.. Infact, this is what i have
been thinking for long..

Much of minerals are sold out of our country, esp in mangalore and
orissa.. The national long term implications are completely
forgotten.. But, who cares, when money is the only yardstick, and
politics is largely a business.

Today, no one can contain the mangalore mine owners.. (probably the
reddys)..

Also, there is another argument.. Will all these projects uplift any
of the people whose community lived in that site for thousands of years..

And why should these lives be spared for those greedy corporates whose
sole aim is money..

The rule of law currently tells that those who have money can do
anything, and this is being projected as human right and individual
right..
