Just educate the most backward class in a good school, college and University which has a principle of harmonious development of education and you will find he can become the Prime Minister of India someday. Where you are born is not important, how you are brought up and taught matters. I feel very sad to see what is India becoming. What our forefathers thought India would become and what it is turning to. You see the Babri Masjid being destroyed, then the carnage in Gujurat, then the Missionary Graham Staines and his two sons burnt alive. Which is not enough we have the Bombay blast, Kandhamal christians running in the forest for safety. What can I say, this is my home, this is my India. I am so proud of Indians who are doing so well abroad as Doctors, Nurses, IT professional and scientists. India is soaring up toward being a super economy power, 6th country to send a rocket to the moon.
What I don't understand is, if Indians are so intelligent why are we not compassionate towards our fellow men. Why are we not tolerant towards each other. Is there a deficiency in our Character. Or this is something we are least bothered about. I sincerely feel these traits are very essential for a good India. Many times I am so ashamed of where I come from.
