Reference Pravin Khare's remarks on the above subject. It is true that no religion can be blamed for any attacks but one should think why and who are behind such attacks. For catholics conversion means change of heart. If forcible and fraudalant means of conversion is root cause of attacks, the persons involved in such activity must be punished as per law of the land. Why a group of people take law on their hand? See the statements of Catholic bishops on www.cbcisite.com on conversion. Catholic church law forbids forcible conversion. If any catholic missionary have taken illegal route to convert people, the conversion itself is null and void. I also unable to appreciate the remarks "Catholic churches are full of money to take care of them and but they will not because there need will not be fulfilled look at there history and i am sure you will find its not glorify." I am a catholic and have seen the conditions of many dioceses. It is true that some dioceses are rich but some are very poor too. A catholic has to give monthly contribution to the parish where he resides for maintenance of priests and church but in poor diocese the priests find it difficult to manage their day to days expenses as they get very less money. It is very good to see that we all Indian were united in condemning the terror attacks on Mumbain on 26/11. But how many of us condemned the attack that took place in Orissa and Karnataka where our own fellow people are responsible for attack and creating a communal tension. How many of us condemned when MNS of Raj attacked on people from U.P.and Bihar? Personally I feel, History is a means to tell us how and in what way we can amend ourselves and improve our thoughts, our behaviour, our actions our system and many other things. We should learn from history where our ancestors erred and make improvement in the present time and in the future. If any religion or any country commited in the past, it should not brood over it but learn new lessions. Dr. Vincent Barla ------------------------------------
