As one believing in the commands of Allah and his messengers, I appreciate the commands in the historical context and its parrallels in all the time to come. I wish to seek appreciation of inter-text monotheistic commons. You may recall from the Shashtras the following: - prevention of usury
- prevention of idol worship ( arya samaj, nirankaris, Sikhs ,Jains, BUdhdhists are not supposed to worship idols).. people like us messengers, sufis and all the great need the grace of Almighty on the Day of Judgement)
- prevention of adultery and homosexuality
- respect for peity
- and so many common values
What Ghulam Mohammad saheb has pointed out about the racist claims ( choses one by birth) needs to be looked into for implications with reference to the caste based attitudes and practices. Swami Dharmananda Teertha also addressed these issue. Please consider monotheistic content to be the foundation for unity..we are one people all over the world --a posterity of Noah ( a simple imam of Mewat referred to the reference to Jal Pralay in the texts in India..
