Hi Friends in Jharkhan Group, Yes, Adivasi has great contribution. I agree with Sri venkaj. Prof Kancha Ilaiah of Osmania University has written a wonder book called "Turning the Pot, Tilling the Land - Dignity of Labour in our Time". It has wonderful disclosed of very basic yet very important. He talks about Adivasis are our teachers of food habits - what fruits, roots and meats idible and not. Similary he also talks about cattle rearers, leather workers, farmers, potters, weavers, dhobis, barbers etc. which are mostly done and taught to world by tribals and dalits.
