Dear friends,
We are bring to you the story behind the killing of Lakhiram Tudu a Santal Adivase and one of the activist of Jharkhand Ulgulan Manch that took place on 6th December 08. The people are resisting a thermal power plant and a captive coal mine. Their resistance contributes much more to the fight for reduction of carbon emissions even though they may have not heard of the term climate change. They are also a people with a zero carbon foot print. Please support them by viewing their story on utube at the link below.
