Johar!
The Adivasi homeland areas of the State of Chattisgarh bordering Jharkhand last week saw an unprecedented historical rally and public meeting where over 20000 people mostly Adivasis and Dalit participated.
For thirty five years the Sangh Pariwar has been building up this Adivasi homeland belt by using the Adivasis for their political gains. This included geting Adivasis to fight Adivasis on the basis of religion.
This is also the area where the BJP government has launched their notorious anti-Adivasi, Salwa Julum pogram.
The pogram of spreading communal poison and the power of the State (remember the incaserating of Dr. Binayak Sen) saw years of fear politics on our Adivasi peoples. In the past decades not a single non-pariwar public programme could be organised here. Resulting in a flood of mining companies usurping Adivasi lands. The culture of silence has just been broken
