I joined a new political party " Samruddha Odisha" one and half year back after resigning from a very lucrative job from Microsoft. I contested from Jagatsinghpur Assembly Constituency against Chiranjiv Biswal from Congress and Bishnu Das from BJD. I have seen that traditional politicians depend for the votes more on the black money and muscle than the performance. I believe that our people want the performance over money for their votes. Currently they do not find any difference between any traditional politicians from existing parties. Hence they vote on basis of money. This gives an opportunity for good people to join politics and deliver the desired performance to the people.

I have been voting in elections regularly. I do make all efforts to get my and family members name/s included in voter list at new places, whenever I get transfer in my job. I feel disspointed to see lower voting percentage particular in Mumbai in present LS election. To get listed our names I made atleast 10 rounds to different offices and submitted many forms and photographs despite didn't get photo ID card. still I like to bring certain issues regarding "compulsory voting". - Will you make compulsory for our MPs/ MLAs and all elected members to Perform ? - Will you make compulsory for them to attend Parliament/ assembelies ? - Will you make compulsory for them to take part in Policy making in National interest and not on Party Line ? There are many issues for us and our elected representatives to be made compulsory. I am for selected voting rights. Those who understand value of their vote only they can be allowed to vote. Those who are throwing their vote for money, wine, saris or free goods are not allowed to vote.
