Dear all:
I belong to Madhya Pradesh and associated with a small, membership-funded ( no donations) NGO The Nature Volunteers (TNV). I have worked in the field of tiger conservation to some extent.
Recently the MP Government formed an expert committee to go into the reasons of and suggest solutions to the tiger crisis of Panna National Park from where tigers mysteriously disappered, creating havoc. I am member of the expert group which includes stalwarts like H S Panwar, former Director of Project Tiger, as also WII.
I invite specific suggestions from you--the concerned citizens of India--on how to conserve our tigers and protect reserves and jungles, not just Panna. The majestic predator Royal Bengal Tiger is highly endangered species with al round hostility towards him...rising population, depleting forest, tribal bill and so on !! We all, therefore should put our might, sincere efforts, suggest out of the box ideas and join hands to Save Tiger in India.
A heart-felt appeal to do some thing to save tiger. regards,
Abhilash Khandekar Member: Panna Tiger Crisis Expert Group Bhopal __._,_.___
