Probably, this is my first mail here that is I am writing in Hindi. First let me introduce myself. I am one of the oldest member and moderator of this forum. I am with this forum since, the time when we were had just 10-15 members here. And those all were mostly from BIT, Mesra (Ranchi). Now we have around 3000 members in this forum, which are more-less silent observers / readers. Where as we have got some new members, who are anxious about foreign religion. But, what do I think that – current environment of forum is kind of ’serious tashan-talkative’. We all are started to liking to talk as scholars and that is also in our non-native language. Here, issue is not a use of foreign language since, now we have many foreign members here. (we must need to use English or teach them Hindi, so that they can understand us).



Here, my first concern is – why should we discuss things in foreign language, when we already have our well developed loving language Hindi? May be, we scholar mentality people feel more comfortable in English and it’s true that, it helps us to interact with other language speakers. And, we feel bit proud in using it but, we use it only with in this forum or in some official talks. So, my concern is that – we are becoming English language loving internet citizen because, we need to have change. Always talking in Hindi make us bore, forget about promoting it globally.



My second concern is – why do we have only serious or sad topics in this forum? Don’t you feel, still we don’t know even a bit about each other. It is just that, some one drops something in forum and we just read and forgot about person who posted it. It all happens coz we have developed habits of reading mails regularly. As I stated above, some new forum members are too much criticising to foreign religious missionaries. I remember that, when this forum had started, we had exchanged some funny and entertaining mails because, at that time we had not have any member who can speak on such a serious issue. But, now what difference I feel here is that, hardly any one posts any interesting mail here. All are serious scholar type story tellers and silent observers here. Please, don’t take this comment personally, this is a real story.



My third concern is about the moderation in this forum. Some people take this forum as campaign ground and some people demand to make this forum as a Bollywood movie, where you find everything nice and that’s not hurting either. Then, are we feeling the need of a forum that make us stress-free, where we can present our real issues in un-real way to just make feel good to ourselves. I think that, forum does carry reflection of our real society so, that it can looks like an ideal forum. Too much moderation in forum will make it like a Bollywood movie, where everything looks as nice and keeps us entertaining. On the other hand, it doesn’t mean that, we should make this forum moderation free and let it go in out of order. In all condition, we want Jharkhand Forum as a standard forum but, without contributing anything and being a silent observes. In this condition, Moderators think that above mentioned campaigners are active users of this forum and they allow to pass their mails in the forum. And when these campaign kinds of messages come at forum’s floor, everyone (except silent observers) gets involved in discussion over it and forgets the burning issues. And, during our discussions we also start to counter-attack on each-other. After that, few members even don’t miss the chance to warn moderators for above activities and their wish to un-subscribing from this forum. Do you think that, un-subscription from this forum for above reason is the solution of this problem. After all, this forum is just a simple reflection of our modern society and its people. How long you will be flying away from this? How long you will be keeps liking your migration and keep comparing your place to Bangalore / Bombay / Bangkok? It may be possible that Unsubscribing / Migration from your cyber community and original society can give you consolation that, you are away from all problems which lies in our society but, it will certainly not bring changes in our society and our country. You may analyse this issue with a peaceful mind and say if I am wrong or just forget to think about it and concentrate more on your future career / business / family issues.
