With a heavy heart I have to say the tribal of Chhattisgarh were taken
for a ride on 7th September at Raipur under the pretext of "Adivasi
Bachao Andolan".The supposedly "Adivasi Bachao Andolan" became Dalit-Adivasi movement
at the last moment with the leader of "Satnami Samaj" becoming chief
guest along with Shibu Soren. Satish Pendam who runs "ABA",came to us talking about how tribal
community needs a national level leader.Since we have been working in
tribal areas of Bastar for the past few years and in the coming
elections we are also contesting from our registered party "Prithak
Bastar Rajya Party",Satish Pendam must have thought that we can bring
the crowd for Shibu Soren.We were also told that Shibu Soren is
interested in funding our party since any election requires lot of money. Within our limited resources we mobilised our people for the meet.Only
last moment we were told that "Satnami Samaj" leader is also the chief
guest. Prabhat As it always happens we were sidelined and the whole rally was taken
over by the Satnami Community.All the tribal went back feeling cheated
by people from our own community like Satish Pendam and Shibu Soren. If Soren is really a well wisher of the Tribal then I am confident
that Satish Pendam is taking him for a ride in the name of "Adisavi
Bachao Andolan". Can anyone from the forum give this message to Shibu Soren??
