I agree with you Anil. It is easy to rush to condemn such events. Of course they should be condemned but living as I do right in the midst of these events in Assam, I feel more and more desperate when these events are used only to gain political mileage or for communal purposes. There is tension in Assam, there are very few persons on the roads, shops have closed already at 3 p.m. because of tension. Curfew has been imposed on parts of Guwahati. There is a sense of fear and resentment and one has to work against it instead of stopping at condemning these events or getting into the blame game. Walter
