Re: India's Railways: Bihar-Based & Bihar Biased
Indian railway engineers and officers are recruited through
examinations conducted by UPSC. Engineers who qualify are called
members of the Indian Engineering Service. Other officers are
selected through Civil services examination, also conducted through
UPSC. Is there a single officer (including engineers) getting
recruited outside of this framework?

On what basis do you say that officers of Bihar origin (and while
you have not said, do you also mean Jharkhand origin people like
me?) are not able to read or write in the business language of
India, namely English? Is there is a provision to do this under the
rules of UPSC?

I would like you to give concrete proof of this as this is a very
very damaging allegation which questions not only on Lalu Prasad but
also the integrity of the entire organisation of the Indian Railways
and UPSC. Let me add, I went through the link that you have provided
at cnnibn. That does not in any way substantiate the allegation that
you have made and is indeed non-sequitur.

Let me assure you, if you can give concrete proof for this
allegation, I will personally be with you shoulder to shoulder to
fight this. But if it is not, you may please consider withdrawing
your allegation as then your statement would be considered spreading
regional hate in these times of considerable national anguish.

Thanks

TV Sinha
