Dear Ravi Shankar, Your comments are welcome. Since you are a grad student, I am sure, you will get your chance to study history of India and partition in much deeper level. You have every right to contest that there is no ground for Muslims to ask their earlier paramountcy in India, as India is now a full fledged democracy and on the basis of one-man one vote, there is no legal problem, if Muslims could win elections and present themselves as better equipped to govern India. However, at least some Muslim feel, and that includes me too, that India's democracy is heavily controlled and managed by an Oligarchy ---- a Brahmin, or high caste monopoly ---- that would use any trick in the trade to frustrate any attempt to unseat them. Now, this too is very legitimate. But the means applied should not be illegal. There should be on law for everybody. Election commission rules are against the use of religion in election campaign. Hindutva protogonists got Supreme Court to declare that is not a religion, but only a culture. (That decision should be challenged with new facts emerging as Sangh Parivar progresses in its relentless efforts to convert India, to a Hindu religious state, with clear intent to dump its so-called democracy and secularism and turn it into a fascist state in the image of what Mussolini had established in wartime Italy.) So with the clearance from the Supreme Court, RSS parivar is given a loophole to sneak in with their religious baggage. That is not a level playing field. If India is secular, and its election laws have to strictly monitor that religion does not interfere in free election campaigning, there is case, that BJP should be de-rcognised. It is a communal party and it promotes hatred and discrimination against another group of Indian citizen, on the ground Hindutva s of their different religious identity. So, I can say, till that time that Election Commission does not debar discrimination on the basis of religion, Indian democracy cannot be called perfect. That illusion, therefore, that India is a democratic country, should be dispelled.
Another fallacy is that power in India, is in the hands of Hindus. It is not. It is in the hands of a Brahmin clique that has acquired deep leverages to hold the so-called Hindu community to ransom. After Mandal, the castes are challenging the Brahmins in a democratic manner. Once other castes are in power, the definition of word 'Hindu' is bound to change.
You wrote in recent times, I did not hear any wars between Jews and Christians. Well, you can be sure that the difference between Jews and any other community in the world, will always remain, in fact and in principle. Jews are only about 13 million in the world. They cannot engage other in wars, except with war of annihilation, through the use of weapons of mass destruction, like nuclear or biological weaponry. But they are masters of art and science warmongering. They always use proxies to perpetrate their war games.
In India, they have co-opted the Brahmins and their most active political formulation, the Sangh Parivar, to prepare for war, be that against Muslims, Christians, Chinese. The choice is theirs.
Much is made out that Mughals, Persians, Afghans from the north area all invaders. However, this fact is not properly publicised, that all of the invaders were invited by the locals, helped by the locals in the invasion of their own land. In current phase, it is BJP led by Vajpayee and Advani, who have invited, Jews and Christians to come and become strategist partners with India. You will see how successfully these invited guests will take over India once again. Only one community will save India, from the lastest invaders --- the Muslims of India. It may take time, but it only they that are ideologically and historically equipped to face the modren day invaders of this blessed land.
