I fully agree with Prof. Anil Sadgopal. The constitution of the country clearly spells out education as an inalienable and inherent right, which is a fundamental right. Yet the Directive Principles have not been translated in practice. Precept must become practice. Today children in India are vendors, newspaper sellers, waiters selling tea when they should be studying. A concerted move to adress this practically and philanthropically should be in the cards. We must fully support Prof. Sadgopal's missonary vision. These elite schools are meant for a chosen few. Ananya S Guha.
