India is a socialist country - in broader sense, it allows take more from affluent people and share them with poor.
That is the reason a MBBS doctor in USA earns about > $200000 per month and in India a doctor is forced to work @ a consolidated pay of Rs. 10000 per month.
The Government's can justify any thing at court citing 'people's welfare'; be it Narendra Modi's soft 'Nano' loan of 9500 crores to Ratan TATA @ 0.1 % interest for 20 years
or Naveen Patnaik's lanjigarh refinary to Anil Agarwal.
This comes with an additional hidden agreement or rather understanding - donate to party fund with open heart. If any CM routes to my bank account a public money of 1000crores and seeks to help him duting election, I wouldn't mind throwing 100 crore to his party fund.
So, even though the SEZ some times sounds absurd and illogical/irrational - it is hear to stay. SOme will come up. Some will end after grabbing the land [TATA's Gopalpur Steel project in Orissa - a 3400 acres land acquired for a steel plant is being regularized as a SEZ land since 2003 by Naveen-Tata ]
Personally, I would advise land losers to fight for Government Gurantee for a job or a steady pay, from the date of losing the land. Else don't give up your land. The politician- Industrialist nexus have no intention to do yoru welfare;in stead they wish to fill each other's pocket by routing your money and kicking you from your land.
