In my opinion there should be no reason for asking for the charges for providing the information as the information is not provided by the PIO within the time. As far as the action is concern State Information Commission can impose penalty for not providing the Information in time deliberately. Further since the officer concern has deliberately not provided the information which is your fundamental right, appropriate legal action can be taken against the concern officer. However Legal advise should be taken before initiating any legal action. |
